About Playbloom
What is Playbloom?
Playbloom is an independent, informational garden of learning games for young children. We gather simple, screen-free games by subject and age, and share friendly ideas for the grown-ups who play along.
Do you sell toys or apps?
No. Playbloom is purely informational and screen-free at heart. We describe games you can play with everyday things, but nothing on the site is for sale and there's nothing to download.
Is everything really free?
Yes. Every game and idea here is free to read, with no account to make and no sign-up to fill in — just open a page and play.
Playing & Learning
How do I pick a game for my child's age?
Start on the By Age page. Seedlings (2–4), Sprouts (5–7), and Bloomers (8–10) each gather games pitched just right — and every game lists its stage, so you can match with a glance.
What if my child is between stages?
Ages are only a gentle guide. Children grow at their own pace, so feel free to drift up or down a stage — the best game is simply the one your child enjoys.
Do I need special equipment?
Almost never. Most games use everyday things — paper, chalk, a ball, or nothing at all. The For Grown-Ups page has tips for a simple 'game box' you can keep handy.
Say Hello
Can I suggest a game?
We'd love that. Use the Say Hello page to send a game your family enjoys, and it may bloom on the site in a future update.
Are the games suitable for classrooms too?
Very much so. Teachers and carers are warmly welcome — every game works just as well with a small group as with one child at home.
